There are so many people in the world who never have the opportunity to pursue the career they love. I’m not one of them. I love what I do and since starting my career in California, I’m thrilled to say that I’ve learned from so many trained professionals in my field. BRAND HEAD, VERIZON PREPAID, VERIZON CONSUMER GROUP 
VERIZON - BASKING RIDGE, NEW JERSEY

November 2019 - Present

Directed 45 cross-functional personnel in a matrixed and Agile work environment to spearhead all brand governance and marketing functions, including advertising, messaging, merchandising, and campaign development; owned P&L management for the Verizon Prepaid brand. Shaped analytics-driven global marketing strategies for the multibillion-dollar Verizon Prepaid brand, the most profitable brand out of 11 prepaid brands at Verizon. Established marketing roadmaps for digital and offline channels. 

 

Customer Acquisition and Retention Initiatives

  • Achieved growth of up to 20% in market share in various channels and displaced Fortune 500 competitors by optimizing the product portfolio and revamped mobile and data plans. Identified untapped market opportunities by monitoring market trends.

  • Grew subscriber base by 8%-9% while overseeing marketing across 6 channels, including web, telesales, corporate stores, branded stores, national retailers, and master agents. 

  • Cut down the churn rate to the lowest in the history of Verizon Prepaid by attracting higher-quality customers; developed customer retention strategies, including customer loyalty programs, targeted campaigns, and personalized communication.

  • Championed marketing infrastructure modernization by leading initiatives to introduce cutting-edge marketing technologies for SEO, search marketing, and messaging; leveraged generative AI.
     

Global Product Commercialization and Go-to-Market Strategy Development

  • Quadrupled revenue by developing and launching international plans; identified target markets.

  • Formally recognized by the Executive Director of Product Management for strategizing optimal data pricing. Headed the launch of loyalty and multi-line pricing to improve product competitiveness and margins.

  • Attained and exceeded all revenue and subscriber goals by strategizing successful wireless initiatives; conceptualized unique promotions replicated by competitors. Led GTM for prepaid programs and 5G Nationwide launch.

  • Increased gross ads by spearheading the successful commercialization of novel smartwatch plans for Verizon Prepaid.
     

Digital Marketing

  • Doubled sales (up to 96% growth) in the affiliate marketing channel by rejuvenating the affiliate marketing program.  

  • Lowered cost of customer acquisition by 83%+ and improved gross ads by establishing and leveraging strategic partnerships with CPGA partners; grew ROI of the paid media channel.

  • Positioned the prepaid business for success in the post-pandemic market by championing and directing website transformation from an information portal to an e-commerce channel and streamlined buyer flow.

April 2018 - November 2019

Established global digital footprint of a multimillion-dollar textile brand by building powerful product awareness and sales campaigns from the ground up. Strengthened digital marketing partnerships with industry giants including Amazon (40% market share), Wayfair, Walmart, Overstock, and Groupon; worked with diverse internal and external content management systems and budgeted, forecasted, and reported performance-based category shares.

 

Brand & Marketing Partnerships

  • Secured increased market share and brand coverage by CNN, Fox News, and ABC in record 6 months. Finalized $MM new contracts with Macy's, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, Target, and others. Merchandized products by indexing website with Google, using SEO, running Microsoft Bing and Google Adverts promotions, and rejuvenating the entire social media platform.

  • Drove 84% increase in revenue via core and partner digital marketing channels. Improved demand fulfillment for partner marketplaces by studying seasonality, forecasting inventory, and ensuring timely product supply across international markets.
